The event is based at Dores Inn in the Dores village, on Loch Ness. The nearest city is Inverness, around 9 miles North East of Dores (B862). When entering the car park of the Dores Inn, you will see the entrance to the event which is in the Beer Garden / Beach area of the Inn.

We recommend you make use of our partnership with Inverness Taxis (01463 222222), and arrange a booking in advance to get you to the venue. Make sure to ask for any special discount offers that may be available to OutDores ticket holders *these deals are subject to terms set by Inverness Taxi's and are to be arranged in advance of your booking. We also run a taxi rank at the end of the event, with a constant flow of taxis available to return to Inverness and surrounding areas.

There is a public bus service that will take you from Inverness to Dores, with the bus stop right outside the venue. Please be aware that the public bus service will only run up until late afternoon, and so it is not a suitable mode of return travel if you plan on staying for the duration of the event. Stagecoach have more information regarding running buses services and timetables.

There is a small car park as part of the Dores Inn available to customers of the pub and restaurant. We do not reccomend you plan to use this if you have an alternative method of getting to the venue that does not require parking, as it will fill up quickly given the high amount of vistors in the area. We ask that you respect those living in the surrounding area, and do not park in private driveways, obstruct roads, paths or the turning circle outside the venue.

The venue is accessible to vehicles dropping off or picking up people attending the event. We ask that you do not park in front of the entrance of the venue, to prevent blocking of fire exits and access. The road above the venue has a turning circle available to use for larger vehicles.
